Michael D. Chambrelli, Esq.
Michael D. Chambrelli represents both litigation and transactional clients as an associate attorney at Rha Kim Grossman & McIlwain, LLP.
Michael has lived in New York City since beginning his undergraduate degree at Fordham University College at Rose Hill, where he majored in History and minored in Philosophy. He continued on to Fordham University's Graduate School of Education where earned a Master’s in the Science of Teaching Adolescent Social Studies and subsequently taught ninth grade social studies in New York City Public Schools.
While teaching, Michael began his legal career as a Legal Assistant for Fordham University’s Office of General Counsel. This prompted him to enroll at Fordham University School of Law in their Evening Program. Michael then worked as a Confidential Investigator for the Special Commissioner of Investigation for New York City Public Schools.
During law school Michael served as an Associate Editor of Notes and Articles for the Fordham Environmental Law Journal, as well as on the Journal’s executive board as Online Editor where he spearheaded an overhaul of the Journal’s online presence and contributed numerous op-eds and website blog posts.
After graduating, he continued on as a legal services attorney with the New York City’s Universal Access to Counsel Program where he represented residential tenants in New York City Housing Court defending tenants against evictions.
Michael’s diversity of experience both inside and outside of the legal field allows him to bring a novel perspective to his practice which enables him to creatively represent clients in both litigation and transactional matters.
